Our Refund Philosophy

At North Bridge Web Design, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction. Our refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent, providing clarity on the circumstances under which refunds are available. We aim to build trust by clearly outlining our procedures and addressing any concerns you may have regarding your investment in our services.

This Refund Policy applies to all services provided by Northbridge Web LLC (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”), including custom social media content packages, WordPress website design packages, and 30-minute strategy calls. All services are digital products. We comply with the strictest standards under US law (FTC, CCPA) and UK law (Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).

1. General Policy Because our services are custom and digital, all sales are final once work has commenced. We do not offer refunds for completed work or after project kickoff.

2. Deposits & Payments

  • A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required to schedule and begin your project.
  • This deposit reserves your slot and covers initial consultation and planning.
  • Deposits are non-refundable after the project kickoff call or when we begin creative work.

3. Cancellations Before Work Begins If you cancel before any work has started (prior to the kickoff call and delivery of initial drafts), we will refund 100% of any amounts paid minus a $75 administrative fee. Requests must be made in writing within 14 days of purchase.

4. Post-Kickoff Cancellations Once the project has started:

  • You may request to pause or cancel the project.
  • We will invoice for all work completed up to the cancellation date at our standard hourly rate or pro-rated package value.
  • Any remaining unused portion may be eligible for a partial refund at our sole discretion.
  • Refunds, if granted, will be issued within 10 business days to the original payment method.

5. Strategy Calls (60-minute sessions) All strategy calls are non-refundable once booked and confirmed. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in full charge with no rescheduling credit.

6. Chargebacks & Disputes Filing a chargeback instead of contacting us first violates this policy and may result in:

  • Immediate termination of services
  • Collection of any outstanding balances
  • Reporting to credit agencies and Stripe

We take chargeback prevention seriously and maintain full project records.

7. Exceptional Circumstances In rare cases of genuine service failure (not change of mind), we will work with you to resolve the issue or, at our discretion, provide a partial refund. All requests must be submitted in writing to joachim.jeremias.kovacs@gmail.com with supporting details.

9. Changes to This Policy We may update this Refund Policy. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.

This policy is designed to meet Stripe Risk Department requirements for digital service businesses in both the US and UK — clear language, no misleading guarantees, and full disclosure of digital/non-tangible nature.
